FGS Domeroofing constructs Shade Sails for Hervey Bay
The construction of a 'Shade Sail' structure in the accessibility corridor near the Hervey Bay Library is now complete and on site. The sails are 6 metre by 6 metre triangles on stainless steel posts. The design of the Shade Sails is not only pleasing to the eye, but the angles of the sails provide protection from adverse weather conditions while ensuring a cooling environment during the hotter Queensland days.

What fibreglass services do FGS Dome Roofing provide?
FGS is actively involved in both the restoration and manufacture of fibreglass products in the aviation, transport and railroad industries. Continual wear and tear on vehicles, refrigerated lockers and marine equipment account for a major portion of fibreglass services. In addition, Fibreglass Services and Dome Roofing is involved in ground floor design and manufacture of fibreglass parts for the renowned Seeker surveilance helicoptor. What should you look for in a Dome Roof?
Fibreglass Services and Dome Roofing are award winners in the design and manufacture of Dome Roofing systems. A dome roof is self supporting and easily transportable. They are made from durable, high quality materials and only require minimum assembly time. Dome roofs come in a great choice of colors and consist of 12 panels which simply bolt together. They are engineered to Australian Standards and all electrical and plumbing work can be installed invisibly. More extensive information is available via the Domes page link.
What is FRP and how does it relate to FGS?
In the industry, Fibreglass Reinforced Plastics (FRP) are used to protect, enhance and create difficult light weight products with chemical, temperature and/or fire retardance, if so required. Also food save products are made of some type of FRP. High quality food save FRP products are used wherever there is food stuff; i.e. storage, conveying, preparing, etc. At Fibreglass Services we build all manner of food save products from cold storage on trawlers to mixer covers on bakery equipment. FRP offers a great solution for just about all storage or conveyance of food stuff from -50° to +100° C. Fume and dust ducting is also made in FRP for the same reasons.
